I recently bought a late 60's Bridgeport mill with a 42" table. It has chrome ways on the knee and also on the table ways. The saddle appears to be nonchromed on both sides. But I've talked to others who say the saddle often (or usually) has chrome on its X axis with the table ways being non chromed (because you can't have chrome on chrome).
