It is rusted out on the bottom but I think it can be saved. I believe it is a Wetmore Clipper hammer mill. It has one screen in it with holes about 3/4 of an inch in it.

All belt driven and just staked down with no connection to tractor except belt. Your tractor pully will be a 6" face pully so do not go any wider but you can go narrower.

Doggone it,I had a PTO adapter kit here to change a John 10A hammer mill from belt pulley to PTO. A platform that held a shaft with a large flywheel and a different pulley for the mill with 5 or 6 grooves for V belts. I tried to give that thing to a local collector,told other folks that I had it.

You'll need to do some mather to figure out how fast turns the shaft on the hammermill. Will depend on the pulley size. I'd say 540 will be way too slow, and 1000 would also be some too slow.

I have a 352 New Holland mill that I has seen a lot of feed since I got it. I paid 900 for it about 7 years ago. New holland still supports it although the parts aren't cheap you can get them yet.

He has a pretty big mill hooked up to a belt drive off a tractor. I would like to go smaller, but also drive it. off the belt drive on my Oliver Super 55.
