If I were to buy again, I might consider the 2" rollers, but otherwise, I'm very pleased with the mill. A 3 roller just seemed like overkill to meof course, sometimes overkill is a good thing! OP.
I bought an original MM3 w stainless rolls. There were very few 3 roller mills out at the time. Once I learned that the base needs a little movement, I've loved it. It was a PITA when I had it all tight on the base. I mounted a 1/2 drill to the base and control speed with a router speed control. I really like the mill.

Do not run the mill dry. When product has almost run through, open the rolls and disengage the apron. Do not wear loose articles of clothing or any accessories that can get caught in the rolls. Roll journals are equipped with ball or roller bearings. It is good practice to lubricate the bearings on a monthly basis.

I've had my 3roller Mighty Mill for over a year now and unfortunately as much as I wanted to really like this mill, IMO, there are some improvements that need to be made. 1. Mill Gap is not consistent and doesn't actually represent true measurements when checking with a feeler gauge. The .025 setting is more like .035.

There is also the 3 roller mill! On a 3 roller mill, a single roller sits below the top two rollers adding an extra step to remove the hard ends of under modified malts from the husk. All the grist falls through the third roller. Because of this 3 roller mills are more like 4 roller mills. Adding extra rollers does not mean more extract.
We have the 3 roller setup and the grain won't feed. It appears that the non driven roller on top is not spinning with the grain. We've set the gap to the largest possible on the bottom roller and that does nada. Running it with a 1/2 inch amp corded drill. Trying to mill in grain for tomorrow's brew day.
